Wates Developments successfully secured planning permission for a new multi-use residential development on the site of a historic former airfield in Ford, West Sussex. In the past it was a base for Royal Navy Hunters and critical in the Battle of Britain. The development will include 1500 homes, built for the community, with wellness and sustainability at its core, plus a new primary school, a care home, retail units, open spaces, and sports facilities.
